moving in and out of ADS aim while shooting These figures seem very small, but if you've used the Aurora long enough it will result in you having trouble when you have to perform an action that requires both main clicks to be pressed together or in rapid succession. An example of another mouse that has a high m1+m2 delay is Razer Abyssus, and that was still at 20-25ms. When you press left click (mouse1) and then press right click (mouse2), or the other way round, there is a firmware flaw forcing a 50-55ms delay. The second issue is the m1+m2 click latency. If you made the change once successfully, and then left it as it is, then you fluked and did the right thing. Hard to say when, but it happens a lot so won't take much to find out. It is likely to happen to you, but it might not be at the first or second attempt. First is the software/firmware issue, where any change made and applied to the onboard settings had a high chance to brick the mouse. If you're that interested in Ninox Auroras, I'm surprised you don't know about the 2 major issues with this mouse. Chinese universal PTFE feet (pack of a 100 for dollar or something, WMO size I think) get glued on top of the original plastic ones, as trying to cut something this small with scissors doesn't look better anyways. Rubber coating mostly flaked off, trying to remove the rest of it scratched through the paint so I stopped, it looks really tired. Needed a contact cleaner spray into the microswitches several times, of course. Which is why I have spare Auroras! And now you're scaring me that they will all die! Everyone making light mice simply copies Zowie aka WMO shape, aka fat bottom I can't use. Chinese Diamondback-shaped cheap mice still exist, but they're unusable for gaming. I'm in the same boat as you, I can't use anything that has a fat end, aka anything available on the market. What about a brand new spare I have in the closet? Will that die the second I get it out of the box and try to set the speed? So you're saying even if those Auroras keep soldiering on, they will all die the second someone installs the original software?

I also dont like the fact that the DPI switch is right on the top, luckily the way I grip the mouse it is not much of an issue in game, but ofcourse mistakes can be made.Is this a problem with certain batch of Auroras? Or perhaps using it with the software running in the background so it wears out the flash? Mine was programmed once and refuses to die after what, 7 years? My friend has two working for 4+ years. if I had to hold anything against this mouse its that the sidebuttons are just a little too small. Its pretty customizable with the colors and DPI personally I just turn all the LED's off, gives the mouse a clean look.ĩ/10 for me. The software is good like OP had mentioned I read it can break the mouse, didnt cause any issues for me. Nothing seems to roll around, scroll wheel doesnt have any sway, and all the buttons feel really great. So far I have not had any sensor issues with this mouse(tested on qck, razer speed, aritsian(sp)) The overall build quality is solid. Before this purchase I had been using a abyssus2014 and I can say that this is far superior. to give people some background ive been using a WMO for the last few years (basically when I picked up quake seriously). Hands down the best mouse I've bought in the last 5 years.

Sensor and tracking 9/10 (The mouse has not once malfunctioned on me, using it on a Razer Sphex skin thingy.) I paid roughly about £20+- and for that price it's been a great purchase.

With this build I'm sure in the future if BST gets enough funds he can take this device to the next level and increase the quality. The buttons press down really well and the thumb button is really easy to use if you're that type of person, the scroll wheel is smooth as a babies bottom and I can't really fault it. Now getting down to the actual mouse, it's light and the build style (shape) is near on perfect for the way I use it, a mixture of claw grip and/normal. Now whipping this bad boy out and plugging it in to my PC, I came across a few posts on this forum saying that the software can and will more than likely destroy your mouse, I have installed it, changed the DPI and HZ and it's been working amazingly well for the last few weeks. Well, I purchased it off of Amazon, and it' arrived promptly, at first glance if you're the type of person who cries tears of pain and hurt when the packaging is not up to par and have the same design aesthetic as the leading brands such as Razer and/or Steelseries then I would wholeheartedly not purchase this mouse. We all know that esreality has mixed emotions in terms of which hardware is best and suited to your own play style, mixed in with a few trolls and some really intelligent hardware aficionados. I thought I'd support BST and get myself a Ninox Aurora.
